Michael Nute, DPM

Foot and Ankle Specialist

Dr. Michael Nute is a Podiatrist servicing patients of all ages, focusing on the treatment of foot ailments and injuries, including sports medicine and childhood and senior disorders, as well as specializing in more complex rearfoot and ankle issues and limb salvage. Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of New Orleans before receiving his Doctorate at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Nute completed his residency at the Harvard affiliate, Cambridge Hospital. Adding to his impressive training, he also completed fellowships in Italy, Russia, and Siberia. He teaches in the Wheaton Franciscan Podiatry Residency Program and sits on many professional boards.

Dr. Nute is Board certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He dedicates himself to maintaining a close interaction with his patients, educating on care and prevention with communication being a key factor in the course of treatment. Being a sports enthusiast who enjoys rock climbing, ice fishing and snowmobiling, he enjoys working with athletes and helping those correct problems to obtain maximum performance. As a teen, Dr. Nute suffered an injury while playing sports. Throughout his healing process and interaction with his doctor, he became interested in the rewards of becoming a Podiatrist. Fortunately for his patients, opportunity brought him to Southeastern Wisconsin.
